  2. Install our desktop uploader and watch this video series to learn how it can help you upload and download photos.

Adding/Editing Tags

Once your photos are in the app, you can edit tags or add new ones easily. This is especially helpful for anyone with scanned photos, which will have the wrong date and often no other tags.

Tags you can add/edit in bulk:

  • Caption
  • People
  • Date
  • Location
  • Album
  • Keywords

Additional tags you can edit on individual photos:

  • Filename
  • Front/back photo link

Exporting Photos and Albums

You can export individual photos directly from the app. Want to export an album(s) or your entire account? Use the desktop uploader to do that, since it works in reverse as well to export photos back onto your computer with metadata.

Whenever you export, you'll be given the option to export with or without tags on front. Tags are always injected inside the photo file as metadata*, but you can also chose to include tags underneath the image as part of the actual image. This is called a Memory Stamp and click the link to learn what options you have,

This comes in very handy when you want to share a photo to a place that doesn't currently read all metadata, such as Facebook.

* Embedding Metadata through MemoryWeb's File DNA technology
When you export photos from MemoryWeb, all the details are inserted into the file's EXIF and IPTC metadata fields.

This means that the "back-of-the-photo" details travel with your image and can be used by any platform that reads and utilizes photo metadata.

Sharing Photos and Albums

You can share photos almost anywhere with Memory Web and in many different ways.

  • Post to social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Share via text message and email
  • Share directly to other MemoryWeb users and collaborate on photo collections
